A Peek from Paris.....
Paris Fashion Week 2010. How amazing would it be! Here are a couple of favourites which have caught my eye. The first is a lady in red, dressed by Lanvin, in what is a truly striking one shoulder floor length dress. The second, another one shoulder dress - this time by Chloe and in complete contrast to Lanvin, it is true to the essence Chloe style - muted in tone, sheer in fabric and floaty in movement. I love.

Beautiful Surroundings.....
I feel so lucky to live right next to a beautiful beach and find the best way to finsh off the day is a long walk as the sun sets on the horizon.
I leave the morning walks for the weekend, where they usually end with picking up coffee at a favourite cafe!

Anja the Great....
Anja Rubik is one beautiful girl.
The Polish born model who has also lived in Greece and South Africa, did not begin modelling until she finished studying in Paris. It did not take her long however to grace the covers of French, Spanish and German Vogue; she then put on her angel wings joined the Victoria's Secret wonder-girls for the 2009 show. Now living in New York, Anja is favoured by many designers for her amazing versatility.

A World Away....
While I'm lapping up the sun-drenched days here in the Southern Hemisphere (I've already been for my first swim for this summer!), these images remind me of all my friends in the Northern Hemisphere who may be feeling a bit chilly in the coming months.

Weekends = Lazy days relaxing in the sun.
Short shorts, t-shirts of a cotton/bamboo blend, layers of cashmere or silk, cute shoes and chunky accessories, messy hair and you're all set.

Good combo going on here, with the short shorts balanced out with loose singlet and cream jacket. The layered necklace adds a nice touch too...
