Christmas by the Beach...
Merry Christmas everyone!!!
I plan to spend the day with family enjoying beautiful seafood, BBQ's, cocktails, long walks on soft white sand and swims in the turquoise blue beauty of the Indian Ocean.

Waiting in Style....
I enjoy 'people watching' - if only to see the way someone has put together an outfit.
It's inspiring to see something in fashion being teamed up with an item which is more individual and reflective of a person's style and personality.
And while you should never judge a book by it's cover - so to speak - there is still something to be said for first impressions.
Note - I have the sandals in the first photo - love them! If only I had a pet dog too...
I love the heels in the second photo and the tiny gold heart ring in the third photo.

Seaside Scenes...
Walking along the beach on Sunday afternoon, it was so warm and still, yet with thick cloud covering the sky like a blanket.
It reminded me of the image below, which I saved a long time ago.
I think being by the sea is just as nice on a stormy day as it is a day with a cloudless blue sky...

An English Rose...
This English Rose is fast becoming the next 'it girl' to watch closely.
Her name is Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and in the last few years she has appeared in countless magazines including Harper's Bazaar, Vogue and last year received the Elle Style Award for Model of the Year.
She has also been the face behind campaigns for Burberry, Ralph Lauren, DKNY and Clinique.
And just to top things off, she found herself a pair of angel wings this year and walked the Victoria's Secret runway with the likes of Miranda Kerr and Adriana Lima.

The Colour of Summer....
I'm loving all of the summer fruits right now and what's more refreshing than a slice of watermelon on a scorching hot day. Better still, make your own Watermelon Granita - just add a splash of fresh lime juice, crushed ice and a whole lot of watermelon and shake, shake, shake.

It's a little place at the bottom of the world.

It's a little place where you're sure to know someone who knows someone you know.
It's a little place all on it's own, surrounded by ocean.
It's a little place I call home.

Hammock Time......
Ahhh, the humble hammock....Swaying softly to the gentle summer breeze.
And why restrict the hammock to under the shade of a tree? I love these images... it kind of makes me think you could just fold up your hammock and take it where ever you go - to the ocean, to the park and as the last pic shows, it even has a place inside the home.
