Who's That Girl; Doutzen Kroes

I found this image of Dutch model Doutzen Kroes; she's such a natural and I love her hair! Apparently as a young girl she wanted to be a speed skater in the Olympics. Now that she's one of the top earning models in the world, I'm guessing she's probably pretty glad she didn't follow up that speed skating idea!

A Pop of Pink

As winter days draw to an end I'm becoming increasingly tempted to pop some colour into my wardrobe. I think this outfit is really sweet. It's bright yet still crisp and fresh. And I do love that clutch.

Shelter

A little place of shelter surrounded by ocean, sand and sea salt spray. When the sun is beating down, take shelter in the shade. And when it's raining out at sea, take shelter under cover.

Treat the Skin You're In

With changing seasons, skin tends to become a little dehydrated as it adjusts to the climate. One of my absolute favourite products which not only helps with this, but is just lovely to use anyway, is Rosewater Balancing Mist by Jurlique. A Sleepy Sunday

For me there are two different types of Sunday. There are those where I like to be busy, get out and about and be organised for the week ahead; then there are those which I call a Sleepy Sunday. Sometimes these are needed to rest and relax and are essential to start the new week feeling fresh. And Sunday is the perfect day to have an afternoon nap. All you need is your most comfortable clothes, a nice quiet area, a couple of soft pillows and close your eyes and let yourself drift away, the new week will begin soon enough.

I have a love for all types of jewellery - bright and bold or classic gold, I like it all! On most days I don't wear much jewellery - always my beloved diamond engagement ring and wedding ring of course! And I have a lot of other jewellery, although there is always room for more - it's not exactly the type of thing that takes up a lot of space is it? What I love about jewellery is that each piece has a special memory attached to it - even if it's a piece you bought for yourself, it still reminds you of a particular time or perhaps a place you once visited. I found these pictures of a super fine gold ring and a delicate bow necklace - I think they are sweet so wanted to share.

Awash in White

Unusual little details always give a home great character. When a home has understated quirks it has a subtle impact yet adds to the overall beauty. For example, I love this home with the layered ceiling which has been cut away to let natural light in. The small lights placed along the wall compliment the small bench for books and the use of white everywhere instead of the ever popular feature wall, perfectly balance this space. Another detail I love which is shown below include steps throughout a home to create different levels and dimensions.

Mid Week Style; Label Bashing Beautiful

This look is slightly label bashing to Chanel, but there is still something about it I really like, and i would still like this look regardless of what label it was...I guess it's just a bonus it's Chanel? I wouldn't mind wrapping some Chanel around my neck - that scarf looks super snug and warm!

Playing with Green

Two lovely ways to have some green in your day! These green bottles look great all lined up and how cute are the little green shorts? PS - the word 'green' starts to sound really odd when you say it over and over again.

Walking Style: The Over Sized Clutch

This over sized clutch / handbag is big enough to store all the essentials. The rich colour of it is perfect to mix with dark winter hues, but I think it would also be great to use in summer with a palette of creams and tans.

This medieval castle in Italy has been transformed into an amazing home which reflects its rich history but still offers some modern luxuries. It would be quite nice to be able to invite friends back to your castle wouldn't it?

Mario Testino's wedding photos of Kate Moss are quickly appearing everywhere, but this would have to be one of my favourites of the bunch. It shows Kate Moss with her father and daughter Lila-Grace on their way to the church where she married rocker Jamie Hince. Love her look by John Galliano.
