I wouldn't say purple - or any shade of it - is my favourite colour (it's blue, if you're wondering...hence The Blue Room) however I do really love how it has been used in these images below.

Whether it's for the smaller, decorative details in a room, or a big splash of purple like the painted wall in the last couple of photos - using colour can add warmth and bring out the beauty of any space or room....

I really do love great fashion advertising campaigns - the likes of Chloe, Gucci and Bally get me every time as I stare longingly and imagine the joy of wearing something so beautiful.

I'm pretty sure this is actually the lovely Aimee from Song of Style but I stumbled across this image on tumbler and wanted to post it.

I love the mix of the fur shrug with little shorts and the pastel pink peeking out.

If I was putting this outfit together I would probably feel like I was bringing to many looks together, I can be quite a minimalist sometimes - but I think this works.

I'm loving that belt too....
